Annemarie Appleton is the daughter of co-founder Michael A. Simonelli. Like her daughter, Alloy Stainless Products Company Inc. loomed large in her early life. After working intermittently in her teens, she returned to the company full-time in 1981. She advanced through through a variety of positions (Quality Assurance Manager – 1986, Vice-President/Quality – 1990, VP/Quality & Manufacturing – 1994) to become President in 2015. All along the way, she has pursued and continues to engage in specialized education in three subjects about which she is passionate: Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Management. Since 1991 she has also volunteered in and attained leadership positions several Standards Development Organizations that write the codes, standards and specifications relevant to ASP Products. Ms. Appleton is also on the Foundation Board of Trustees for St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital, where she is the chair for the committee on the Anthony J. Addeo Nursing Scholarship.
